This is the first casting from my new Great Dane mold that I made recently from an original sculpture.
Mold Box
A mold box takes shape. Today I will be using the green goo to make the mold instead of the blue because it's more flexible. The backs of the ears are tapered in such a way that I'll need that flex to get it out of the mold without cracking them.
I just fished this guy out of the "pond" in my rock garden. What a weird effect. He's clearly not happy with having spent the summer underwater.
After visiting my rock garden, it appears the heads on the left are still annoyed at the head on the right prattling on about the wonder of life.
